As of October 2011 the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences charges application fee for application for the academic year 2012-2013. All students with a non-Dutch diploma who want to study at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences have to pay this application fee. Study abroad /exchange students do not have to pay an application fee.
The application fee is €75 (including bank charges). Please note that we can only process your application after the application fee has been received.

Exemptions
The following students do not have to pay the application fee:
- Students with a Bachelor’s degree from a Dutch university or college;
- Applicants for enrollment in February 2012.
- Students who have been registered in Groningen before (any programme);
- Students who can prove that they have applied for or have been granted one of the following scholarships:
- NFP applications (with a letter from the employer only)
- STUNED (only with a letter from NESO Jakarta)
Refund of application fee after registration
The application fee will be refunded once you have fully completed your registration for the programme you have applied for. This refund is not possible if you cancelled or have not completed your registration, or when being rejected.
NOTE: The refund is not applicable for applications received after the deadline.
